Nutrition Clinic

What does a one to one consultation involve?

Step 1

Once you have booked in you will receive a nutritional assessment questionnaire and food diary. You will need to complete both and return them (via email or through the post) 1 week prior to your consultation. To download the forms click here.

Step 2

At your initial consultation:

  • Your questionnaire and food diary will be discussed to establish any underlying issues
  • A brief outline of the potential causes influencing your health concerns will be provided
  • An explanation of how nutritional therapy can help, plus some initial recommendations will be made

Following your consultation you will receive a full detailed report, fact sheets and recipe guides to improve your health. This is produced taking into account your dietary preferences and lifestyle.

Advice is focused around alterations to your diet concentrating on specific foods that can aid the body´s systems. Food supplements may be recommended to address any deficiencies/ imbalances and sometimes a diagnostic test may be suggested for example to identify mineral deficiencies, toxicities or food intolerances. Supplement recommendations, where necessary, are kept to a minimum as the aim is to improve ones diet. How quickly you can start to feel improvements in your health will depend on how committed you are to implementing changes and also how long you have had the problem.

Step 3

Follow up consultations are usually advised to assess progress and make adjustments. Click here to email us your completed NAQ and Food Diary prior to your consultation.
